Atlantic 49 is available both in retail stores and also on line. Like many other Canadian lotteries, it can either be played on its own, or in connection with Lotto 6/49 using the same numbers.
If players participate in the online version, tickets do not have to be printed out. If a participant wins, they will be notified by email of their winnings. Players pick six numbers ranging from 1 to 49. Every Wednesday and Saturday, numbers are drawn and those matching all six numbers win the grand prize. Participants can also buy for future draws.
Either participants can play their own numbers from two up to 10 consecutive draws or the computer can pick random numbers for each draw. Chances of winning any prize are 1 in 27. Chances of winning the grand prize are 1 in approximately 7,000,000.
