Another Award for Fallsview Casino Resort

After having received a number of awards this year, there was yet another award for the Fallsview Casino Resort this month. The casino resort has won awards for both leadership and for innovation.

American Gaming Association Communications Awards Ceremony

The recent awards ceremony in which Fallsview Casino was acknowledged was the American Gaming Association Communications Awards ceremony. The awards were hosted in Las Vegas on October 1st. The awards that are presented at this awards ceremony are for excellent achievements in the areas of corporate communications and advertising in the gaming industry.

The Fallsview Casino Resort won a number of awards, and was certainly in good company alongside other top casinos. Fallsview Casino won the awards for the Best Broadcasting Advertisement for the amusing "Caddy" advertisement that was created in partnership with Blammo Worldwide. The casino won the Leading Edge award for an interactive billboard, the "Yonge-Dundas Augmented Reality." The billboard was created by a partnership with Blammo Worldwide and Pixelpusher.ca. The billboard was displayed at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto.

"Everything created by our marketing department is designed to intrigue audiences by capturing the excitement people can expect while visiting the casino resort," said the president of Niagara Casinos, Art Frank. "We're very proud that their hard work and creativity has been acknowledged against such worthy competitors."

Benefits Canada and Wine Spectator Awards

Not only did Fallsview Casino win the AGA awards, the casino resort has also won a Benefits Canada award in the Workplace Benefits Award ceremony that took place on October 9th. The award was given for the health/wellness programme offered at Niagara Casinos. The programme is and effective and innovative one that has shown results of better outcomes for its many employees. Niagara Casinos also won an award for the pension plan it offers. In 2013, Niagara Casinos was awarded the Benefits Canada workplace safety award.

Art Frank noted that the company is very proud to have been recognised for their employee benefits programmes. "It reflects the respect and appreciation we have for our associates in all aspects of their lives," he said.

In addition to a number of other awards for Niagara Casinos over the past year, the Ponte Vecchio and 21 Club, both of which are located at Fallsview Casino, won the Wine Spectator Best of Award of Excellence, and Lucky's Steakhouse, located at Casino Niagara, was awarded a Wine Spectator Award of Excellence.

A very pleased Frank noted: "Whether internally for the 4,000 associates we employ, or publicly for the millions of guests that visit us each year, we never stop striving to be creative, innovative and to stay ahead of the game. We are very thankful that our industry peers acknowledge the commitment and devotion that goes into the experience that is Niagara Casinos."
