Globalisation Leads to NMi Gaming North America
NMi Gaming North America is now located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The company has expanded before, growing from its home base in the Netherlands, to branches located in the United Kingdom, Italy, and Spain.
The MD of NMi Gaming North America is Richard d'Souza, who has many years experience at NMi as a Senior Security Consultant. He has also been employed in a similar capacity at another ATF.
The NMi Gaming Director, Andrew Rosewarne, had the following to say regarding the company's most recent expansion: "We have seen increasing globalisation of the gaming industry and many of our well established customers have operations on both sides of the Atlantic."
Rosewarne explains that the Canadian based North American branch of NMi would offer not only local expertise, but also the convenience of the company operating in the same time zone that other North American companies are operating in.
Rosewarne continued: "The Vancouver area is a great location for NMi to establish a presence in North America. The combination of high quality local talent and proximity to our existing customers and major gaming markets was very attractive to us."
Rosewarne expressed his confidence in d'Souza's leadership, and predicts that the company will grow and expand under his competent leadership, as it has in other locations.
The Managing Director of NMi, Arjan van Breukelen noted that the North American gaming and i-gaming markets are in a time of growth, and that "NMi is perfectly positioned to play a significant role as the market evolves."
Richard d'Souza Talks About NMi's Contribution
The new Managing Director explained that NMi emphasises communication and always puts its customer's needs first. He noted that NMi is not simply "just a gaming lab," but rather a company that, on a global level, deals with ensuring the accuracy of other important systems.
Included in NMi's global activities, the company ensures the accuracy of taxi meters, petrol pumps, controlling various manufacturing processes, and the process of certifying, and the calibration of gas metering systems and more.
On a more personal level, d'Souza noted: "Vancouver is my home town, and I am personally looking forward to the challenge of building something special here."
