GTech Launches Game Market Lottery Gaming Content
GTech Corporation, a well known leader in the online gaming software industry, has launched a new lottery gaming content library to centralise online lottery content called the GTech Game Market.
GTech has indicated that Game Market will change the way that online lottery operators will be able to bring interactive games to their customers.
According to GTech, this new offering gives the operator control over the game content, allowing the lottery operators to easily and quickly update the product that they are offering.
Paul Riley, the Vice President of GTech's lottery interactive product marketing noted: "The Game Market is the next major building block in revolutionizing the way in which interactive games are developed and brought to market for lotteries."
Mr. Riley further explained: "The Game Market puts the control of game content firmly in the hands of the operator, and allows a lottery to rapidly update its product mix."
Canadian Game Market Partners
Game Market has already partnered with a number of lottery companies. Included in the list of companies that are already partnered with GTech's Game Market are Telos Entertainment, Karma Gaming, and Ingenio. These Canadian based lottery companies will now be able to bring a larger games portfolio to their customers far more quickly than they could before.
Based in Prince Edwards Island, Telos Entertainment focuses on developing casual gaming content for various partners including GSN Digital, and also develops gaming content for lottery and casino channels. In Nova Scotia, Karma Gaming is a company that creates gaming related digital lottery products. The third Canadian partner in the new Game Market offering, is Ingenio. Ingenio develops software for Loto Quebec, offering interactive games that are created using a number of gaming formats
Canadian Lottery Gaming Content Now Customisable
Clearly, the Game Market offering will provide Canadian players with better gaming in a shorter time period. GTech's statement noted: "One of the challenges constantly facing the lottery industry is 'time to market'."
The statement later noted: "One of the unique features of the Game Market is that it allows a lottery to select and configure its game using the portal and then automatically generates the appropriate work order to install the game on the player facing website."
Part of the configuration options that Canadian lottery companies can choose from include customising payout percentages, choosing prize structures, and even the ability to adjust progressive jackpots. There is a large choice of games already available with a variety of themes, such as holiday and seasonal game themes, along with a range of other popular game themes.
