The Chicago Bears will visit the Dallas Cowboys this week on Monday Night Football. The two teams have met 22 times previously and the Cowboys lead the series 13-9. The last meeting between these teams was in September of 2010 with the Bears winning that game 27-20.

The two teams have met twice in the post-season, both times the Cowboys won. They won 17-13 in December of 1991 in an NFC Wild Card game 17-13 and they beat the Bears in a 1977 NFC Divisional Round Playoff 37-7.

These two teams from different divisions often go three or four years without playing each other. So there isn't really any rivalry here.

Both of these franchises are steeped in tradition and history. The Bears had most of their championships before Dallas ever became a team. The Bears are one of the original NFL teams and have won nine NFL Championships, however, only one has been since the Super Bowl became the Championship Game in 1967.

The Cowboys have won five Super Bowl championships, but are 40 years younger than the Bears.

Some of the game's greatest players have played most or all of their careers for the Bears and Cowboys. Red Grange, Dick Butkus, Gale Sayers, Walter Payton, Mike Singletary, and many others legends made Chicago their home. Don Meredith, Bob Lilly, Roger Staubach,

Tony Dorsett, Emmitt Smith, Michael Irvin, Troy Aikman and so many others have become legends in Big D.

Two of the game's most legendary coaches roamed the sidelines for these two franchises for decades, Tom Landry for the Cowboys and George Halas for the Bears. Halas also owned the Bears, and to this day his family still does.

This year the game is between two teams that are 2-1. The Bears beat Indianapolis 41-21, then lost to Green Bay 23-10, before beating St Louis 23-6. Dallas beat the New York Giants 24-17, then lost to Seattle 27-10 before beating Tampa Bay 16-10.

The Bears are +3 +105 or +155 straight up. The Cowboys are -3 -125 or -175. Over/under is 41.5. We like the Cowboys at home straight up to win it. Get the best NFL Odds at Bet365.com
