All players need to do is pick seven numbers from 1 to 49 (or choose QuickPick) to start the ball rolling. Draws are held every Friday night, with tickets sold until 9 pm Eastern Time on draw nights.
How to Play Lotto Max
To start playing Lotto Max, players need to mark seven numbers on their selection slip. Alternatively, they can check the Quick Pick box where the numbers will be chosen for them randomly by the lottery terminal.
For each set of lottery numbers played, the terminal generates an additional set of numbers, and players can play up to five times per ticket.
The Main Draw sees seven numbers plus one bonus number drawn. In addition, seven numbers are drawn for each of the MaxMillion draws held, when they take place.
MaxMillions are drawn once the jackpot reaches $50 million.
