Welcome to our preview of Week 3 of the 2012 NFL season.
For those of you new to this a + or - next to a team means if you bet on that team, you must add or subtract that number to the final score to see if you won. In other words, if the Jets are -3 and win by two, you would lose if you bet on them. A + or - a number in the 100s means one of two things. If the number is a + (such as +200) then that amount is what you would win if you place a $100.00 bet on that team. If it is a - (such as -150), then that is the amount you would need to wager in order to win $100.00.
Over/under is the total number of points scored by both teams combined. If the number is 45 and you bet over, then you are betting the total number of points will be greater than 45.
