Tens Of Millions Up For Grabs In This Week's Lotto Max
It's Friday night Lotto Max action once more, and players are anxiously waiting to see if their seven numbers match the massive $50 million main jackpot draw.
Last week, no tickets matched the main prize, meaning that it was rolled over to this week once more.
The past Lotto Max draw saw 22 Max Millions bonus draws, each of which was worth $1 million.
Max Millions are additional $1 million prizes that are drawn when the Lotto Max jackpot reaches $50 million. They are drawn separately to the main jackpot draw.
If the $50 million jackpot is won, any Max Millions prizes that are not won are added to the next base of the Lotto Max jackpot.
If the main prize is not won, any Max Millions prizes not won automatically carry forward to the next draw as Max Millions prizes.
Nine out of these $1 million Max Millions were winners and three of them were split by two tickets.
Three players won $333,333 for splitting the Max Millions three ways.
Winning tickets were sold in St. John's, Quebec, Ontario, Manitoba, Calgary, Edmonton, British Columbia and Yellowknife (NW Territories).
This week, there are an addition 31 Max Millions up for grabs, bringing the total value of the March 11th draw to a whopping $81 million.
Tickets for this week's draw can be bought until around 9 pm. on Friday evening.
