If there's one lottery in the world that is more than living up to its name, it is Canada's Lotto Max, which over the last few months alone has yielded bucket loads of instant millionaires thanks to its Maxmillions payouts.

With Lotto Max, Canadian lottery fans get lots of chances to become an instant millionaire in each draw, particularly in the case of many rollovers. The reason is that Lotto Max boasts a main jackpot prize plus $1-million Maxmillions.

So for instance, in the last Lotto Max draw on Friday, July 30, there was no main jackpot prize winner, which means for this Friday's draw, Lotto Max fans stand to win a whopping $50 million jackpot as well as 32 Maxmillions.

To put that in perspective, it means that if on Friday all the stars are in alignment and Lady Luck works her magic in double time, there could be as many as 33 individual lottery millionaires dotted across Canada come Saturday.

Of course, lottery odds being what they are, that is unlikely to happen, But if the winning Lotto Max numbers from Friday's draw are unmatched, next week's main jackpot will be unchanged, but there will be more Maxmillions.

It is for this reason that Lotto Max is fast becoming Canada's most popular weekly lottery game, as its rollovers come fast and furious, and it takes just a few weeks for the jackpot to reach $50 million, and the Maxmillions to pile up.

After last week's Lotto Max draw, players in Ontario won the most Maxmillions prizes, snatching 7 out of 13. Said OLG spokesperson, Wendy Montgomery, 'Maxmillions prizes are what make Lotto Max so exciting for players.'
