Jake Cutler and his undefeated Chicago Bears will travel to face Eli Manning and the very defeated New York Giants in a game that oddsmakers have somewhat surprisingly priced up in favour of the Giants. In fact the latest Bears Giants spread is -4 points, moving from an opening call of -3 points.

That line flatters the Giants who have done little right this season. They beat the Panthers on opening day, but Carolina are a terrible team and the form looks highly suspect. After that they were brushed aside by the Colts as well as the Titans. By contrast the Bears have opened 3-0 including an impressive win last time out against the Packers.

The immediate reaction would be to take the points as the Bears are definitely the superior team. But this is a trap line and the guys who determine the spread rarely make mistakes. Chicago has to play off a short week, and there could be a let down factor after that massive home win on Monday Night Football. In addition the Giants are at home and have won the last five regular season meetings.

The Over/Under number has also moved since the opening call of 42.5 points. It is now trading at 44 points and we recommend a bet on the Over as there should be plenty of points from both teams.
