The Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears are both 2-0 and sit atop the NFC North standings. With the Vikings looking mediocre and the Lions looking like the Lions it seems clear that these two teams will fight for the division crown. And on Monday Night Football NFL betting action will intensify as these two undefeated teams clash for the first time this season.

The latest Packers Bears line favours the road team to the tune of a field goal. It comes as no surprise that the Packers spread is -3 points when you consider that many pundits, including the NFL handicapping gurus at Maplegambling rate the Packers as the best team in the league so far this season. Our NFL Power Rankings rate the Packers at #1 with the Bears also respected with a Top 10 berth.

But Chicago are lucky to be 2-0. They deserved to lose in Week 1 when the Lions scored a game-winning TD with seconds left on the clock, only to have it overturned by dubious officiating. They did however dismantle the Cowboys on the road last time out, so they are definitely capable. The Packers have started on fire. First they dispatched the Eagles, in Philly no less, and last week they crushed the hapless and helpless Bills.

Odds makers are expecting a high-scoring game and have the Over/Under set high at 46 points. Both teams feature quality defence so it might pay to take the Under as a recommended bet for this game. The Packers Bears spread of +3 points looks about right and we cannot decide which team to take. Don't be surprised if Chicago wins this one as they are at home and rarely get the national spotlight these days. The Packers are the long-term pick to win the NFC - you heard that here first!
