Amaya Gaming Wins Tech Stock of the Year

Amaya Gaming Group, a world-leading online gambling company, has scooped a few prestigious industry awards in Canada.

The Cantech Letter Awards, which recognize excellence in Canadian technology stocks, awarded the online gambling entertainment solutions provider with the TSX Venture Tech Stock of the Year award.

In addition, the Chief Executive Officer of Amaya Gaming, David Baazov, was named TSX Venture Tech Executive of the Year.

The awards are voted on by a panel of top technology analysts in the Canadian business world, and are sponsored by the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange.

Great Honor for Amaya Gaming

Amaya CEO, David Baazov, responded to the news of the awards and said: "This is truly an honor for a young, growing company like Amaya. The credit goes to our board of directors for their excellent insight and guidance, our capable and experienced senior management team, and our dedicated employees around the world."

Baazov said that 2012 had been an extraordinary year for Amaya, where the group experienced strong organic growth, while ensuring that a high percentage of revenues were recurring.

"We are successfully integrating our acquisitions, designed to help us achieve our vision of becoming a provider of gaming solutions across the physical, mobile and digital verticals," said Baazov.

The CEO pointed out that in the fourth quarter, the group also established a strong presence in the United States with its acquisition of Cadillac Jack, and positioned itself to capitalize on the regulation of online poker as it evolves with its acquisition of Ongame.

Amaya Gaming purchased Cadillac Jack, the leading supplier of products and technologies for the global gaming market, for $167 million. The group has gaming machine placements in more than 200 venues in the United States and Mexico.

"We look forward to realizing on the synergies from these transactions in 2013 and beyond," said Baazov after learning about the Amaya Tech Stock of the Year award.
