Canada Lotto 649 Winner Strikes it Lucky Twice
Although millions of lottery fans all over the world play the lottery, only a minuscule number of them will ever know what it feels like to win a multi-million dollar jackpot once, never mind twice, like Canada Lotto 6/49 fan Anne Lepine.
Lepine, who hails from Western Canada, undoubtedly belongs in the record books, because despite winning a whopping $11 million Canada Lotto 6/49 jackpot in 2007, she won more lashings of lottery loot recently to the tune of $7.7 million.
Incredibly, the lucky lotto lady also won her second lottery windfall playing the popular Canada Lotto 6/49, which means in terms of total jackpot earnings over the last four years, Lepine has increased her bank balance by a cool $18.7 million dollars.
When asked about her second lucky win, Lepine told a leading Canadian news agency that she checked her Canada Lotto 6/49 numbers online just a few hours after the live Canada Lotto 6/49 draw and was surprised to learn she'd won the jackpot.
While undergoing her regular routine of circling the drawn Canada Lotto 6/49 numbers which matched those on her tickets, it soon became apparent to Lepine that she was once more in the mega money, even if she only had her dog to celebrate with.
But even if her dog is her only significant other, $7.7 million can buy a solid gold dog chain that weighs more than Snoop Dogg himself. Although in all seriousness, Lepine has not yet said what she intends to spend her new Canada Lotto 6/49 cash on.
However, if Lepine's double windfall has proved anything, it's that lucky lottery lightning can strike in the same place twice and that even when statisticians try to scare lottery fans off with their seemingly impossible odds, the impossible does happen.
