Jonathan Duhamel is on a roll and it seems that there is nothing stopping this young pro.

Canada's first World Series of Poker champ, Duhamel bagged himself nearly $9 million in the tournament this past summer.

Now he has gone on to win the European Poker Tour (EPT) Deauville High Roller, earning himself $276,078.

The event, held in France over two days, featured a field of some of the top players in the world.

Duhamel overcame all 58 participants to take home top money on January 30th.

By winning this competition, Duhamel moves into 15th place on the list of All Time Money among poker players. He has earned well over $9 million playing live poker, and has overtaken some of the bigger fish, including Joe Cada (previous WSOP winner) and Gus Hansen.

Duhamel was keen to show everyone that his WSOP win was not a one-off. At the time he said: "I have to prove something to myself. The best way to prove it is by just playing a lot, practicing a lot, and then be ready if I play a final table."

It seems that Duhamel's philosophy has worked, as his latest win proves.

"I'm so happy right now, I love poker," said the 23 year old. "EUR 200,000 is definitely nice, but the feeling to win again a big one is even better."

Duhamel beat the Frenchman Alain Confino who had the backing of the home crowd in an exciting heads up game.
