Upsets are a big part of what adds to the excitement of the NFL and they can happen on any Sunday. The home underdogs showed some bite in week 1 with the Texans, Seahawks, Steelers, Chiefs, and Redskins all winning. The Ravens won outright as a two point road underdog and the Lions were an end zone controversial call from becoming the seventh underdog to win the game.

In week two there are a number of underdogs that could cause the upset and the Manning Bowl is one such game. We preview a few of the more interesting matchups in Week 2.

New York Giants at Indianapolis Colts

With the Giants coming off of a big win and the Colts off a big loss, logic suggests that the Colts should win this but the Giants arte a real underdog chance, especially with the Colts protection of Peyton Manning being exposed in Week 1 by Tennessee.

The Giants and brother Eli will love to get one over his big brother. The Giants are a horrible 23-8 ATS in their last 31 road games and 19-7 ATS in their last 26 games following a win.

Eli and the Giants to hand the Colts a 0-2 start to the season.

Giants +5.5 at most sportsbooks.

Baltimore Ravens at Cincinnati Bengals

After their heroics in week 1, most bookies have the Ravens as the favourite but they come off a short week and the were prone to turning the ball over in week 1 which will be suicide against the Bengals with Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens ready to pounce.

The Ravens are 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games when playing on Sunday following a Monday night game and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. AFC North. We pick the Bengals to cause the upset at home.

Bengals +2

Seattle Seahawks at Denver Broncos

Here's one where we thing the bookies could have it totally wrong. The Seahawks just look the better team and it's hard to imagine the Broncos a 3 point favourite.

The Broncos have been an ugly investment at home as they are just 8-21-1 ATS in their last 30 home games. Kyle Orton can't do it on his own.

The Seahawks are a real shot to cause an upset. They are 6-2 ATS against a team with a losing record.

Seahawks +3
