Vikings Saints Spread And NFL Betting Pick
The latest Minnesota Vikings New Orleans Saints spread is set at -4.5 points in favour of the home team and defending Super Bowl champs. There has not been a lot of line movement here or variance as most online sports books are trading the same number.
There has, however, been a lot of fluctuation in the Total line for the Over/Under. The number opened at 51 or 51.5 points but the Under bettors have climbed into that total and it is currently down to 48 points, which is a significant move.
These two teams met in an epic NFL playoff game where once again Brett Favre was the opposition's secret weapon, tossing the game away with his casual dumb hubris. His arrogant decisions enabled the Saints to win the game even though they were completely outplayed.
The good news for Saints fans is that Brett is back and he hasn't even bothered to practice this time. Woo hoo! He should be rusty and awful, although please note his early season play tends to be very strong and then he fades down the stretch.
