Vegas Downtown Blackjack An Online Gambling Sign
As long as I've been gambling online I've loved to share my online gambling
stories (some bad, but mostly good) with my fellow Canadian online gambling fans
and what better forum then here at Maple Gambling. Having read some of the other
blogs published on this site over the past couple of months, I thought the
readers may enjoy the following (true) story which took place not too long ago
at Canadian-friendly online casino, Jackpot City Casino.
OK, so I'd been playing at Jackpot City for about a month a half when the
following events took place. It must have been about 8:30 one night when I
logged into Jackpot City Casino. I had around $200 (Canadian) in my account and
I was in the mood to play slots that night. Everybody has their favorite online
casino games, and I'm no exception. Video slots and blackjack are my games of
choice. But on that night video slots appealed more than blackjack.
So I went looking for a video slots game to play in the games lobby of Jackpot
City Casino. I remember considering my old favourite Tomb Raider, with Lara
Croft, as well as Mega Moolah, a lucrative progressive jackpot slot game. And
just as I was about to split my gambling budget that evening between both games,
a funny feeling suddenly came over me. Now I'm not a religious or spiritual
person, and I don't believe in 'signs' or Karma or any of that stuff, but when
that feeling came over me, it felt like a voice inside my head kept repeating
two words 'Vegas' and 'blackjack.'
I recall having an overwhelming feeling to jump on a plane that night to Las
Vegas to play blackjack. But based in Montreal I knew that wasn't going to
happen. And just as I was about to ignore the 'feeling' and put it down to my
caffeine addled imagination, a game caught my eye on Jackpot City Casino called
'Vegas Downtown Blackjack.' I remember doing a kind of a double take as I
felt the hairs on the back of my neck rise. I could not fight the feeling that
this was the game I should be playing that night.
And so with my budget of $150, I played Vegas Downtown Blackjack for about an
hour and a half and when I finally logged I was $325 better off from when I
started. And while since that evening I have tried to make sense of the strange
'feeling' that overcame me, I have been unsuccessful. Nor have I had it since at
Jackpot City Casino or anywhere else for that matter. I have, however, made
Jackpot City Casino my Canadian online gambling destination of choice and added
Vegas Downtown Blackjack to my list of casino game favorites because of what I
like to call 'my online gambling sign.'
