How to Download and Install online casino software

Freshman Studies

The great thing about gambling online is that you don't have to be a technical genius to get started, although there are a few steps you'll need to follow to download and install the free online casino software onto your computer. The good news, however, is that these steps are easy to follow and will get you up and running in no time.

Step 1
On the homepage of most online casinos, you should see a flashing button that says something like 'Click Here to Play Now' or 'Download Free Software'. Click this button.

Step 2
You should see a new pop-up window that asks 'Do you want to run or save this file?'. You want to save this file to your computer so that you don't have to repeat this process. Click 'Save'.

Step 3
A 'Save As' window should open up. This window helps you choose a location for the casino software. If you click 'Save', it will save to your desktop by default. However, you can navigate your way to any location on your computer and save it there. (I normally save my casino software in the 'My Documents' folder which is located on the desktop.)

Step 4
Once you've clicked save, the free online casino software will automatically install a 'Setup' file on your computer which shouldn't take longer than a few seconds depending on the speed of your internet connection.

Step 5
a new window should the open up prompting you to 'Run', 'Open Folder' or 'Close'. Click run and the installation process will begin.

Step 6
Depending on the casino software, you may be prompted to choose a language before you continue. Select a language and click 'Next'. You must then agree to the online casino's terms and conditions before you can continue. Click the 'I agree' block and then 'Next'.

Step 7
Now the installation will begin, which shouldn't take longer than a few minutes depending on the speed of your internet connection. A window should eventually pop-up that says 'Installation Complete'. Click 'Done'.

Step 8
You should now be transported to the online casino's lobby and may even hear some sound effects and music. You will likely be prompted to 'Play for Real Money' or 'Play for Fun' which is self-explanatory. Click on the option you want.

Step 9
Whichever option you chose, you'll be required to fill out and submit some personal details. Note that this process takes slightly longer when you choose the 'Real Money' option as you also have to specify your preferred method of payment. However, this shouldn't take longer than a few minutes.

Step 10
If you've opened a real money account, you must make a deposit into your account before you can start playing. Simply click the 'Cashier' button, and choose your deposit method. Note that some methods can take up to 24 hours for your money to clear and others are instant like Neteller and credit cards.
