Two extremely lucky players have become instant millionaires by winning the Lotto Max lottery in Western Canada. Each of the winners, one from British Columbia, and the other Yukon, will receive $25 million. At the same time that the two players win $25 million in Lotto Max, there are still winnings from a November 2012 Lotto Max jackpot that have not yet been paid out.

The most recent Lotto Max jackpot was worth $50 million, the top possible jackpot that Lotto Max can reach. When the jackpot is larger than $50 million, the rest of the jackpot money is given away to players in MaxMillions prize draws where winners will each win $1 million. These prizes can be won by individuals, or they can be shared.

MaxMillions Prizes Paid Out

There were 20 MaxMillions prizes available, and three of these $1 million prizes have been claimed, with one win being awarded to a player in British Columbia, another in Quebec, and another prize is being split by two lucky players who live on the Prairies.

There have also been another two prizes that have been awarded, the Lotto Max 6/7+ Bonus category. The amounts of $316,336.80 has been awarded to a player in Ontario and another player in British Columbia.

Players can redeem the prizes from winning lottery tickets up to one year after the date of the draw has taken place. The lottery draw that took place on November 30th, 2012, has a $50 million jackpot that has not yet been paid out. While it is impossible for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation to know who purchased the winning ticket, it is known that the ticket was sold in the Cambridge area. The winning lottery ticket from November 30th, 2012, is 3 - 10 - 13 - 23 - 31 - 41 - 45, and the bonus number is 33.

If the winning ticket holder does not come forward before the end of November 2013, the prize cannot be paid out. For all those who might have purchased a Lotto Max ticket for the November 2012 draw should look for the ticket. An OLG spokesperson, Tony Bitonti, said: Look in your glove compartment, purse, kitchen drawer, and the pockets of seasonal clothing.

If someone does find the winning lottery ticket, they need to make sure to fill out all the necessary information, and make sure it is received at the OLG prize centre in Toronto, before 3pm on November 30th, 2013.

The next Lotto Max draw will take place on Friday, November 8th, 2013. The November 8th jackpot is worth $27 million.
