The Canadian province of Ontario has reported another massive lottery win, with a resident of Toronto hitting last weekend's multi million dollar Lotto Max jackpot.

The player, who hasn't yet come forward to claim his or her win, is $30.3 million richer, and may not even know about the fortune.

On Saturday afternoon, a day after the draw, nobody had claimed the $30.3 million prize and a spokesman for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, Tony Bitoni noted that the winner would need to wait for Tuesday morning, after the long weekend, to claim the prize.

However, Tuesday came and went and there still was no sign of the Ontario Lotto Max jackpot winner.

The winning numbers from the August 2nd draw were as follows: 2, 9, 23, 29, 30, 34, 43 and bonus number 40.

The chances of hitting all the numbers correctly are 1 in 29 million.

Ontario Lottery Winning Spree Continues

Ontario continues on its lottery winning spree with the news of the latest $30.3 million winner.

In addition to the massive win, a player from the Brampton area won $1 million on an Encore ticket last weekend.

Last month, a Peterborough family won $50 million in the Lotto Max draw.

Since 2009, players of the Lotto Max lottery in Ontario alone have won over $1.8 billion in prize money.

Of that sum, 28 were big jackpot wins, while 169 were $1 million wins on MaxMillions tickets.

$10 Million Lotto Max Jackpot This Week

In the meantime, with such a big win recorded last weekend, tonight's Lotto Max jackpot is an estimated $10 million.

There is still time to buy your tickets into the draw, either from lottery retailers or online.

If nobody hits the jackpot this week, the prize will roll over until the next draw. Once the main jackpot reaches $50 million, each $1 million in excess is drawn as a separate $1 million MaxMillions prize.

$5 buys players three sets of numbers, with each set consisting of seven numbers from 1 to 49. All three sets of numbers are eligible for the Lotto Max Main Draw and MaxMillions draws (if applicable).

Quick Pick can be used to select the numbers randomly, or players can use a selection slip to choose their own numbers.

Draws are held every Friday, and Lotto Max tickets are sold until 9 pm.
