DoubleDown and Century Casinos Ink Deal
The International Game Technology's subsidiary, DoubleDown Interactive, and Century Casinos Incorporated have inked a deal whereby a DoubleDown app is being offered on some of the Century Casinos sites.
DoubleDown and Century Casinos Fun to Play App
DoubleDown offers an application that is a social gaming fun to play app. This application will now be incorporated into Century Casinos websites. For those who enjoy their gaming through Century Casinos online sites, will know that the sites are closely connected to the Century Casinos brand that operates a number of land-based casinos.
Included in the Century Casinos land-based operations are two Canadian casinos, in Alberta, Canada. One of these casinos is in Edmonton, and the other is in Calgary.
The International Game Technology (IGT) bought DoubleDown Interactive last year. When the company purchased the Seattle-based company, it noted that there were plans to give players the chance to enjoy the DoubleDown games at Century Casino sites.
As it has been described, the 'thrilling library of content' from DoubleDown includes more than 40 slot games, with some of the favourites being Kitty Glitter, Wolf Run, and Siberian Storm. IGT's purchase of the company gives players the benefit of a combination of the DoubleDown and Century Casinos gaming experience.
A statement released from IGT notes: "Players visiting Century Casinos' websites can play the same casino games they know and love anywhere, anytime, gaining immediate access to 40-plus slot games, Game King video poker, blackjack, roulette, poker, and bingo."
The statement continued: "Century Casinos has the opportunity to provide players with exciting casino-style games to be played online via the company's websites, always remaining connected to the Century Casinos brand."
