Century Casino Calgary Launches with a Bang
Calgary celebrated the launch of the brand new Century Casino Calgary last week with a grand opening fit for a king.
Century Casinos, the international casino entertainment company, completely renovated the Calgary landmark, updating it beyond recognition to make it one of the area's foremost locations for gambling and entertainment.
The grand opening took place between November 18 - 21, with plenty of festivities for everyone to enjoy.
$10,000 in cash was given away on November 20th, while hourly cash draws of $4,000 were also held.
December 18th saw patrons vying for a brand new Honda Civic 2010 in an exciting draw.
Entertainment to accompany the grand opening included a performance by country singer, Clay Walker on the 19th, who sang to a massive crowd in the Century Casino Calgary Event Centre.
Thursday and Friday evening were dedicated to the Big River Band, while an Asian entertainment night was held on November 20th.
So what can visitors expect to find at the new Century Casino Calgary?
For one, the casino boasts 93,000 square feet of gaming and entertainment space.
This includes new table game areas, new slots floors and a new bowling center.
All in all Century Casinos spent over $4 million renovating the casinos.
