One of four winners to share the massive $63 million jackpot from last weekend's Lotto 6/49 draw has come forward, identifying himself as 41 year old Chad Seguin of Vancouver.

Seguin will take home $15,853,471.30 after choosing the numbers that landed in the record high Lotto 6/49 jackpot.

Recalling the lead up to his life-changing win, Seguin said: "What I did was, I thought buy myself a Quick Picks ticket. So I bought it on the Saturday afternoon around 4.10 pm, put it in my back pocket and went out that night. I checked the ticket around Sunday afternoon on one of those self checkers."

Lotto 6/49 Winner Celebrates Jackpot

The rest is history, as the father of two realized that he was one of four lucky winners. However, he had a hard time convincing his wife of their good fortune.

"This time it wasn't a prank, it was true," said the Lotto 6/49 winner. "At that end of the day there was a gentleman that actually lent me his cell phone to make the phone call because I wasn't in my right mind. Basically he had to get on the phone with my wife to say 'your husband is a multimillionaire!"

Seguin said that he doesn't buy tickets on a regular basis and the last one he purchased was for Lotto Max three months ago.

His biggest joy is that his financial woes have been solved. About his kids he said: "They just know that Mommy and Daddy won't be stressed out about their financial situation any more."

Seguin has quit his job in sales and says that he won't be returning. His immediate plans are to purchase a new car and take his family on a well-deserved vacation.

Three winners came from British Columbia - one from Vancouver and two from Surrey. The fourth winner came from Alberta.
