2013-14 NFL Season Betting Lines Posted
Although the 2013-14 NFL regular season only kicks off on Thursday, September 5, when deserving Super Bowl XLVII champs the Baltimore Ravens face a yet undetermined opponent, most good online sports betting sites have already begun to post NFL betting lines in anticipation.

Ravens 5th Favorites to Win Super Bowl
As usually happens in this highly unpredictable and complex sport, the previous year's Super Bowl winners are not automatically posted as the following year's favorites. Which is why the Baltimore Ravens are only the fifth favorites to win the Super Bowl for the second straight year.
Leading the way, in fact, are the San Francisco 49ers, who you may recall were narrowly beaten 34-31 by the Ravens in Super Bowl XLVII at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans earlier this year. It seems that oddsmakers believe the 49ers can go all the way again this season.
Judging by their lackluster records last season, there are many teams who need to do some serious work before the start of the new season, but arguably the most in need are the Miami Dolphins, the Detroit Lions, the New England Patriots, the Oakland Raiders and the New York Jets. So expect each of these teams to milk the NFL draft for everything they can to snap up the best talent they can.
