Amaya Gaming Extends Warner Bros Agreement
The Canadian gambling group, Amaya Gaming has issued a press release announcing the extension of an existing partnership it has with Warner Bros. consumer products.
The agreement gives Amaya Gaming Group exclusive rights to provide casino games based on DC Comics superheroes such as Superman, Batman, The Flash, Green Lanterns and Wonder Woman to the online gambling industry.
The partnership offers Amaya the right to distribute these games in regulated markets around the world where pay to play gambling is permitted.
The games will be unique in their comic book design based on the DC Comics characters.
Amaya Gaming said that the deal also includes the rights to develop and distribute games which include the characters Justice League, Supergirl, Batgirl, Catwoman, Harley Quinn and Poison Ivey. Villains such as The Joker, Lex Luthor and Bane will also appear on the reels of the games.
DC Comics is Leading Brand
The Director of Product Strategy for Amaya Gaming, Alain Brosseau said about the partnership: "Amaya is proud to extend its long term partnership with WBCP and excited to continue featuring the DC Comics comic book based characters in its pay to play games.
He said that the DC Comics franchise is a leading brand globally, and Amaya Gaming looks forward to continuing and further developing its relationship with WBCP.
"We are pleased to announce that new 3D games will be developed for distribution over desktop computers and mobile devices for players around the world who enjoy the DC Comics comic book inspired characters," he added about the Amaya Gaming Warner Bros agreement.
Amaya Gaming Branded Slots
Amaya's Alain Brosseau went on to say that the group is excited that the DC Comics design will continue to be part of Amaya's pay to play online product development plan.
"Our branded games have proven to be highly popular with internet gaming operators and their players," he said. "They attract a wide demographic of consumers and are particularly well suited to engage people, with previously only a modest interest in online casino gaming."
He said that the "stunning graphics, animation and sound" tend to increase the player's enjoyment of these games.
Amaya Gaming's portfolio extends across desktop casinos, poker, sports book, lotteries, mobile platforms and slot machines. The group recently acquired casino software provider, Cryptologic, as well as online poker network, Ongame.
