$10 Million Lotto Max Jackpot Tonight
The Lotto Max lottery draw set to take place tonight with a jackpot of $10 million, and players still have time to buy tickets for the jackpot draw and put themselves in line to win this huge, life-changing sum.
The jackpot of the Lotto Max starts at $10 million, and if nobody wins this week, it will rollover indefinitely.
As happened in previous weeks, should the jackpot reach $50 million, the lottery will go into Maxmillions mode and start creating supplemental Maxmillions prizes, each worth a whopping $1 million!
The nationwide Lotto Max lottery costs $5 to play, where ticket holders receive three selections of seven numbers ranging from 1 to 49. Players can choose the first selection of seven numbers while Quick Pick will provide the other two selections.
All selections will be good for the main jackpot, all prize categories and, if applicable, the Maxmillions for that draw.
Friday 13th Lottery Winner Comes Forward
Meanwhile, this week, Canada met the winner of the Friday 13th Lotto Max winner, who bagged himself a generous $21.8 million in last week's draw.
The Fort McMurray, Edmonton man purchased his ticket on a notoriously unlucky date, which turned out to be the luckiest day of his life.
Fifty five year old Chris Fowler, a single dad, purchased his $11 Quick Pick ticket at a convenient store on the morning of the draw and two days later popped into his local Esso gas station to check his numbers.
"First when I looked at it, there were so many digits I didn't know what it was," recalled Fowler in a press conference.
When he realized that he was the winner of $21.8 million, Fowler went to his son, Jason's house to tell him the good news. "He came up from the basement and he said I was white as a ghost and couldn't hardly talk," he said. "He thought something bad had happened."
Lotto Max Winner will Live Debt Free
When asked what he intends doing with the huge sum of money won in the Lotto Max draw, Fowler said that he wants to care for his family and allow them to live debt free.
He will also purchase his dream car - a Corvette, and intends travelling to Vegas and the rest of the world.
Fowler has been playing the lottery for years and said that he doesn't intend letting up.
"I'll be here again," he said. "Next time, I'll be more prepared."
Players who want to join the Millionaires Club and live a life like Fowlers should hurry and purchase their tickets for tonight's $10 million Lotto Max jackpot draw.
