Bet on NFL Week 3 Underdogs
Week 3 of the National Football League (NFL) season kicks off in a few days and fans are waiting in anticipation for some huge games which are lined up, where many highly touted teams will take on NFL underdogs.
It seems that we may be experiencing a season of underdogs making their mark (read: Buffalo Bills) and NFL Week 3 promises some interesting action if this trend continues.
There are a number of marquee NFL matchups lined up for next week, giving the underdogs plenty of opportunity to show what they're worth.
So where should punters look if they want to make some cash on possible Week 3 upsets?
First, the New England Patriots meet the Buffalo Bills and, betting experts point out that the Bills are 2-0. Yes, the New England Patriots are also 2-0, but this is to be expected of them. The Buffalo Bills, however, are putting up some remarkable statistics on the offensive and should be watched.
While the Bills may not win, it is safe to say that wide receiver Stevie Johnson and the rest of his team will be in top form and could cause a major upset. It's also worth remembering that the game is taking place in Buffalo, giving the team a home advantage.
Next week, the New York Jets meet the Oakland Raiders, and while the Jets are clear favorites to win, they didn't overly impress in their game against the Dallas Cowboys in the first week of the season.
It is expected that the Oakland Raiders' incredible fan base will play a major part in any potential upset.
A highly anticipated rematch of last season's NFC Championship Game is lined up for Week 3 between the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears. Odds are 2-0 on the Packers and 1-1 on the Bears and it should be a good game as it is being played in Soldier Field. While the Packers are the favorite to win, nobody should be surprised over a Chicago upset.
More NFL Action in Week 3
But NFL fans will say that, unarguably, the most anticipated Week 3 match is between the Houston Texans and New Orleans Saints. While New Orleans are the favorites to win the game, Houston are keener than ever to declare that they're here to stay. NFL betting fans are advised to choose the over.
Finally, with the Atlanta Falcons' big win over the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 2, they head into their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a slight favorite in Week 3, and while both teams are 1-1, anything can happen!
Week 3 kicks off on Sunday, September 25th in a game between the Jacksonville Jaguars and the Carolina Panthers at the Bank of America Stadium.
