Four ordinary blue collar workers from Lethbridge are still trying to believe their incredibly good fortune after hitting the Lotto 6-49 lottery on November 13th.

For over a decade, the workers from Lethbridge Iron Works have been pooling their finances to buy lottery tickets twice a week.

Three of them have been at it for 11 years, while their colleague, Hemlal Timsina joined them two years ago.

The win was discovered by one of the foursome, Don Jacklynn who recalled the magical moment.

"It was 5 in the morning at work - I went to check the ticket in my toolbox," he recalled.

"I thought it was a mistake, I didn't think it could be true."

But true it was! Jacklynn, Timsina, Richard Carr and Patrick Rossetti bagged themselves a $16,087,108 lottery prize and each got to take home over $4 million.

Some of the group already have definite plans for their newfound riches, while others are still contemplating.

Fifty year old Timsina said that he's ready to travel, pay off some of his debts and "buy a couple of cars for my kids", while Jacklyn joined in to say that he's ready to pay off his mortgage and invest the rest.

Rossetti stated that he hasn't "thought of anything in particular."

What is sure is that some of them are quitting the iron works by the end of this year.

None of them are sure that this isn't just a wild dream. "We're all going to wake up anytime now," joked Jacklynn.
