The Canadian production company, HeadsUp Entertainment, announced that it has a new reality poker show in the pipeline and poker fans have a reason to get excited.

Although the company would not divulge too many details about the new show, it would say that it had the potential to be so successful that it could easily appeal to a wide number of countries around the world.

HeadsUp Entertainment certainly knows what it is talking about. This production company has released top shows such as Poker After Dark and High Stakes Poker and recognizes what fans are after in terms of quality and content.

What is know about the new show is that it will be a reality based series and that between ten and twelve players will take part.

The company revealed that it would be "one of the highest rated poker programs in the North American and international television markets."

"There is no question that television audiences in at least 20 countries throughout the world have shown an overwhelming interest in poker television," said the Chief Executive Officer of HeadsUp Entertainment, Kelly Kellner. "Our market study has concluded that we can sell the series in at least 10 - 12 English speaking countries."

HeadsUp also noted that it was on the lookout for potential sponsors for the new show, with speculation that Canadian poker pro, Daniel Negreanu might be interested.

In the meantime, it was revealed that Kellner will host a conference call for all interested parties on Tuesday May 4.

The group hopes that by this date, it will have managed to collect details of potential sponsors for the new show and announce them at a later date.
