Gaming Group Want Piece of Casino Action
A brand new casino that is under construction near Magnetic Hill in New Brunswick, Canada, had indicated that it hopes to fill the establishment with as many games with a local content as possible.
As such, an up and coming gaming provider is hoping that the casino will consider its products when picking games for its floor.
Casino New Brunswick is near completion stage and should open its doors to Canadian gamblers next year.
The casino, which is operated by Sonco Gaming of Halifax, will boast over 600 slot machines on its casino floor, as well as 20 tables, eight poker tables and a unique highroller room for the big spenders.
A Moncton based company, Canadian Gaming Service, will make a bid to provide the new casino with its top games.
"We're the new kid on the block and in this business nobody wants to give you a shot under you can prove that you have a dependable product and you can deliver," said Darren Sherwood of Canadian Gaming Service. "We're hoping that getting into the casino will give me the experience and the shot that I need to get me going."
Sherwood is hoping that the casino's indication to include games with a local flavour will work in his favour.
"No orders for games have gone to anybody and we're hoping that since we are a Moncton based company and a real Canadian owned company, we will get a piece of it," he said.
While the company started out initially servicing video gaming machines, Canadian Gambling Service eventually went on to developing the Razar, an electronic slot machine that it hopes will attract the attention of the Casino New Brunswick's management.
The slot machine features two 19" LCD monitors, a touch screen and several great features.
