Amaya Sells Ongame Network
In October 2012, Amaya acquired Ongame from bwin.party in a deal for the value of $15 million. It was expected that Amaya would most likely sell the Gibraltar-based B2B poker and platform provider after it acquired the Rational Group, the PokerStars operator for an amount of $4.9 billion earlier this year. Earlier this month, Amaya made an agreement to sell Ongame Network and its subsidiaries to the NYX Gaming Group. Although details have not yet been revealed, it appears that Amaya plans to continue a relationship with NYX Gaming Group.
