Microgaming Inks Jurassic Park Deal
In an exciting move in the gaming world, Microgaming has inked a Jurassic Park deal. The deal between the Jurassic Park franchise and Microgaming will ultimately bring players in Canada and around the world some incredible slots to play. The licensing agreement with Universal Partnerships & Licensing gives Microgaming the chance to design slot games based on the Steven Spielberg Jurassic Park trilogy.
The game has clearly been on the cards for some time already since it has been announced that Microgaming will be previewing the new Jurassic Park slot game at ICE Totally Gaming. ICE Totally Gaming will be taking place at the ExCel London from February 4th to February 6th. The new slot game will be previewed at stand number N11-120.
Jurassic Park to Become a Slot Game
Microgaming can use all the Jurassic Park movies when designing its Jurassic Park slot game. It is expected that the 243 ways to win slot will be released in the summer. The game will come with special features such as five free spin modes that are randomly selected based on the dinosaur's DNA analysis. This slot release already shows signs of an excellent casino game, and is most likely to be very popular with players around the world.
"Jurassic Park is a seminal movie," said Roger Raatgever, the Chief Executive Officer of Microgaming. "Its stunning visual effects and computer-generated imagery set a new benchmark in the industry. It's a film that we can draw parallels from in terms of our game creation and our aim to deliver the most visionary and imaginative gaming experiences to the end player."
Mr. Raatgever further noted: "The Jurassic Park brand is legendary, and our game development team is busy creating an all-mighty slot for release later in the year."
About Jurassic Park
The Jurassic Park movie was released in 1993, and became immediately popular, having viewers on the edge of their seats. The film broke a lot of ground in the movie industry with visual effects that won an Academy Award, and gave viewers the feeling that they were indeed watching a movie that had been made 65 million years ago. The Lost World: Jurassic Park was released in 1997, and Jurassic Park III was released in 2001. Just last year, in 2013, the original movie was released a second time as a 3D movie.
