EuroPartners is a well known affiliate for the Playtech gambling software provider and developer. Earlier this month, EuroPartners pulled out of the Netherlands and Finland. At the time, it was said that the company would also be pulling out of Canada, however, there was no move made to do so, and it seemed that the decision to pull out of Canada was overturned. Less than two weeks later, it seems that the decision to remain in Canada was once again overturned, and EuroPartners has now left the Canadian gambling market.

EuroPartners Confirms Pull Out from Canada

This week, EuroPartners has confirmed that it is pulling out of the Canadian gambling market with immediate effect. The move was not a slow withdrawal from Canada, but brought the EuroPartners participation in the Canadian gambling market to a very abrupt halt. EuroPartners had originally announced that Canada was one of the countries that it would be leaving on November 13th, when it pulled out of Finland and the Netherlands. When Canada was not included on that date, it was thought that EuroPartners had no intention to leave Canada's gambling market, and yet the company went back to its original plan EuroPartners pulled out of Canada.

The EuroPartners affiliate company connects affiliates with online gambling sites. The company has connected more than 70,000 affiliates with some of the biggest gaming names in the industry. It has been said that the reason for the pull out is connected to online gambling laws, however, many question this since Canada is one of the less-regulated online gambling jurisdictions.

Now that EuroPartners is no longer operating in Canada, online casino players will find that their choices will now be more limited. A statement from EuroPartners assured Canadian players that those who have positive account balances should be assured that their balances are secure. Players can continue to play at Playtech powered online casino games for 30 days from the day that the company left Canada, however, no new funded Canadian accounts will be opened, and no deposits may be made by Canadian players.

EuroPartners - Playtech Connection

In March 2011, Playtech acquired EuroPartners. At the time, EuroPartners had around 50,000 affiliates associated with its network, and was one of the biggest affiliates in the industry. The acquisition of a large affiliate company gave Playtech more direct access into a number of online gambling markets. Some of the EuroPartners brands are Casino Tropez, Titan Casino, and Europa Casino
