Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

The Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Bears renew the NFL's most played rivalry this weekend with a lot on the line. The Packers lead the NFC North with a 9-5 record while the Bears are 8-5. Green Bay won the first meeting this year so a win on Sunday would clinch the division over the Bears.

These two have met nearly 200 times. Chicago holds a 92-87-6 advantage in the series that dates back to the beginnings of the NFL. The biggest game happened just two seasons ago when the two teams met in the NFC championship Game. The Packers won that game 35-21 at Chicago's Soldier Field and then went on to win the Super Bowl.

5dimes has the Packers -3 -110 or -160. The Bears are + 3 -110 or +140.  Over/under on the game is 43.5. We are going with Green Bay -3 and the under. The Bears have been struggling lately and the Packers have been playing well. There's no reason to believe this won't continue. The two teams have been engaged in a "war or words" this week in the media, which always adds to a big rivalry.

New York Giants at Atlanta Falcons

The Giants and Falcons get together in a game we may see again in the playoffs. The Falcons are coming off a loss to the Carolina Panthers a week ago. It will be interesting to see how they respond. They hold a game and a half led over the San Francisco 49ers and a two game lead over the Green Bay Packers for the top seed in the NFC playoffs, which would assure themselves nothing but home games until the Super Bowl.

The Giants are suddenly in a fierce struggle to win the NFC East division with the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys only one game out in the division. New York needs to win to stay in front and secure a home game in the opening round of the playoffs.

This should be a good quarterback battle between Atlanta's Matt Ryan and New York's Eli Manning. Both of them are having great seasons and are among the best in the game.

The Giants are +105. The Falcons are -125. Over/under is 50.5. We like the Falcons and the over in this one. We just don't see them losing two in a row.

Pittsburgh Steelers at Dallas Cowboys

These two teams have met in the Super Bowl three times. Pittsburgh beat Dallas in Super Bowls X and XIII. Both games were thrillers pulled out late by the Steelers led by Terry Bradshaw. The catch made by Lynn Swann in Super Bowl X is still one of the greatest in Super Bowl history. Dallas got a measure of payback with Troy Aikman, Emmitt Smith and Michael Irvin leading them to a win over the Steelers in Super Bowl XXX, won by the Cowboys 21-17. Larry Brown was the hero of that game for Dallas with two big interceptions of Neil O'Donnell.

This year, the two meet with the playoffs on the line for both teams. The Steelers have been struggling lately, but are still a dangerous team. They really need a win after the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday. The Steelers are 7-6, a half game behind the Bengals for the last AFC playoff spot.

The Cowboys need a win just as badly as they trail the Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears for the last NFC Wild Card spot. They have lost to both teams.

The Steelers are -125. The Cowboys are +105. Over/under is 44. We will take the Cowboys and the under.

Jacksonville Jaguars at Miami Dolphins

Jaguars are +8 -125 or +275. Dolphins are -8 +105 or -335. Over/under is 37. The Jags are tough on the road. We'll take Jacksonville +8 and the over.

Denver Broncos at Baltimore Ravens

This is another possible playoff preview. The Broncos are -2.5 -130 or -155. The Ravens are +2.5 +110 or +135. Over/under is 48. We like the Broncos -2.5 and the over.

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans

The Colts still have a shot to win the AFC South. A win in this one pulls them to within a game of the Texans. The Two teams meet again in two weeks. Colts are +10.5 -130 or +335. Texans are -10.5 +110 or -420. It's surprising the spread is this much. We'll take the Colts +10.5 and the under.
