It is Week 13 of the NFL season already. Where did the time go? It is now past Thanksgiving and that means it is time to start talking about the playoffs.  Here is what we are looking at in the races as of now, first in the AFC:

In the East, the New England Patriots have it sewed up at a record of 8-3 on a five game win streak. They will visit the Miami Dolphins this week, the only other team with a shot at the playoffs. Miami is 5-6 and coming off a win over the Seattle Seahawks last week.

Miami at New England

5Dimes has New England -9 +115 or -360. The Dolphins are +9 -135 or +300. The over/under is 50.5. We are going to go with the Patriots -9 and the over. This is New England's time of year. They will kick it into gear.

In the North, we have the Baltimore Ravens on top at 8-3, three games over the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals. We gave our preview of the Steelers Ravens game already, so let's look at the Bengals game.

Cincinnati is at San Diego- The Bengals are -125. The Chargers are +105. Over/under is 46. The Chargers have imploded since their second half meltdown against the Broncos on Monday Night Football. The Bengals have been hanging tough the last few weeks. They have an impressive win over the New York Giants in there. So we'll take the Bengals -125 and the under. The Bengals are still in the playoff race, so this is a huge game for them.

In the South, the Indianapolis Colts are three games behind the Houston Texans, but are a game up on the field in the AFC Wild Card race at 7-4. They are a team you cannot help but pull for with rookie Andrew Luck leading the way, playing for their coach Chuck Pagano who has been stricken with cancer.

Indianapolis at Detroit

Detroit is a pesky bunch. They took division leader Houston to overtime on Thanksgiving Day. The Colts had better be ready to play.  The Colts are +5 -110 or +190. The Lions are -5 -110 or -230. Over/under is 51. We'll take the Colts +5 and the over.

The Denver Broncos own the West. Nobody else is in contention.  Let's look at the NFC now:

In the East, the defending champion New York Giants are two games up on the Cowboys and Redskins who are a game out in the Wild Card race. We gave our picks on the Eagles- Cowboys and we will do a separate piece on the Giants- Redskins game for Monday Night Football. Check back with us for that.

In the South, the Atlanta Falcons are a virtual lock, especially with their win over the New Orleans Saints on Thursday. But the Tampa Bay Bucs are still in the Wild Card chase at 6-5. They have a tough one this week.

Tampa Bay at Denver

Bucs are +8 -130 or +270. Broncos are -8 -330. Over/under is 51. We like the Bucs +8 and the under.

In the West, the San Francisco 49ers have things well in hand at 8-2-1. But the Seattle Seahawks are right in the thick of the Wild Card race. At 6-5 they are tied with Tampa Bay and Minnesota for the last playoff spot.

Seattle at Chicago

The Seahawks are +3.5 -115 or +160. The Bears are -3.5 -105 or -185. Over/under is 37.5. We are going to go with the Bears -3.5 and the under. We think the Seahawks will be lucky to score.

And finally, the North. We gave our pick on the division leading Bears. We also did a Vikings-Packers preview. And we gave our pick on the Lions game. The Bears have the division lead by one over the Packers and the Packers are a game up on the Vikings who are tied for the last playoff spot.

Bonus pick:

San Francisco 49ers at St. Louis Rams

These two teams played to a tie last time they met. 49ers are -8 +105 or -350. The Rams are +8 -125 or +290. The over/under is 40. We like the Rams +8 and the over.
