Fallsview Casino Wins Marketing Awards
Ontario's Fallsview Casino overlooks the world famous Horseshoe Falls and is considered one of the most elegant gaming resort facilities in Canada.
The casino constantly strives to run innovative marketing campaigns that make the product stand out and make the resort even more appealing to visitors.
Recently, these efforts paid off when the American Gaming Association nominated Fallsview Casino and Resort for two billboards in the Best Outdoor Advertisement category, as well as for a commercial in the Best Broadcast Advertisement Category.
The nominations were made within the framework of the AGA's Communications Awards ceremony which were hosted in Las Vegas. These took place on October 5th, in conjunction with the Global Gaming Expo
Fallsview Casino marketing won top spot for their 'Break out of the City' billboard display.
Partnering with Blammo Worldwide marketing group, Fallsview Casino wanted to show - in a fun and humourous way - how city dwellers can break out of Toronto and go and experience what the casino and resort have to offer. The billboards' messages were loud and clear - that gaming at the resort was a way for visitors to remove themselves from the mundane routines of daily life in exchange for something more exciting.
The Vice President for Fallsview Casino Marketing, Larry Gregson said: "Consumers are inundated with thousands of communications every day and we wanted to ensure our stood out and got noticed."
Fallsview Casino Offers 3,000 Slot Machines
Fallsview Casino features over 3,000 slot machines and 130 gaming tables. The resort also boasts a 374 room luxury hotel, as well as a full service spa and fitness center.
The casino's Avalon Theatre regularly hosts top celebrities, while visitors can also enjoy dozens of retail options and dining choices. There are also over 30,000 square feet of meeting space and convention spots.
This month and next, the Fallsview Casino will be hosting famous live artists in its intimate 1,500 seat theatre.
6 Chix will perform up until October 16th, while I Pooh with Orchestra will perform on October 22nd and 23rd.
Fallsview describes Dancing Queen, as a celebration of the "1970's disco era with a dance extravagance that brings the timeless hits of Abba, the Bee Gees, Village People and many more to the stage." Dancing Queen will run from October 28th until November 13th (excluding November 1 and 8).
