Toronto Ticket Wins $50 Million Lotto Max Prize
One lucky - and as of yet unidentified - winner has hit the jackpot on this weekend's Lotto Max draw.
The single winning ticket was bought in the Toronto area and the winner will take home the staggering sum of $50 million.
This is the second time in less than a month that a single ticket has won the $50 million prize.
The last time it was hit on December 31st, and, according to a spokesperson for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp it has been an extremely lucky month for the province.
The December win was shared by 19 employees of Bell Canada who purchased the ticket together.
Besides the top $50 million prize, there were 13 Maxmillions prizes worth $1 million each.
Two of them were hit, both from the Ontario area.
The winning numbers for the main draw were as follows:
7-10-14-20-21-23-31, with 41 as the bonus ball.
The rest of the Maxmillions money will be returned to the fund and go towards next week's jackpot which will begin at $10 million.
Altogether, there will be $21 million up for grabs in next week's Lotto Max draw, including the Maxmillions.
