March Madness Selection Sunday Excitement
Amidst great fanfare and build up, the NCAA announced the brackets for the March Madness basketball teams in 2010.
This marked the official opening of what is known as NCAA March Madness.
The number one seeds were: Kansas, Kentucky, Duke and Syracuse, with the Jayhawks named the top seed overall for the tournament.
Kansas (32-2) is the favourite to win its second national title in a space of three years.
The tournament officially begins on Tuesday with an opening round game between Arkansas Pine Bluff and Winthrop, and then continues on Thursday.
Betting action is expected to begin in earnest this week, with sports betting operators providing a range of bets and options.
