Now that the 2012-2013 English Premier League season is underway, just because you live half way around the world in Canada doesn't mean you can't enjoy all the latest soccer betting action at a host of top quality online sportsbooks, including Sports Interaction.

These days many countries outside of England receive live English Premier League (EPL) broadcasts, Canada being no exception. This means you have no excuse whatsoever for missing out on arguably the best soccer league on the planet, or using any number of Canadian-friendly sports betting sites to lay your EPL bets.

But just in case you missed last season, it ended in a real nail-biter as Manchester United and their fierce derby rivals Manchester City were neck-and-neck for the title, right up to the final game of the season. However, City managed to clinch the title, ending their 44-year drought of winning a coveted premiership title.

2012-2013 English Premier League Underway

For this reason, the 2012-2013 English Premier League is expected to be a humdinger, as EPL betting favorites Man City - under the very able guidance of their respected manager Roberto Mancini - will fight to stay on top, while United - under the guidance of machine gum-chewing manager Sir Alex Ferguson - will be intent on revenge.

But don't forget about Chelsea, who have just as much chance of coming out tops this season as the two teams from Manchester. In fact, Chelsea and their fiercest derby rival Arsenal, are amongst the top betting favorites to lift the coveted Barclays Premiership trophy at the end of the season, both of which are London clubs.

In fact, if the season replicates the current English Premier League outright winner odds, we can look forward to a 'Manchester vs London' battle within the Premiership. However, there are many other strong teams that have the potential of throwing a spanner in the works this year, Tottenham, Liverpool and Newcastle, for instance.

Manchester United Intent on Revenge

In this weekend's opening games, Manchester City managed to recover from a deficit to beat Southhampton, while Manchester United must still play their season opener tonight (Monday, August 20) against Everton. If the Red Devils prove triumphant, they will be tied with City on three points. Lose, and they'll be down three points.

So the stage is set for what should be an exhilarating season of top-class English soccer, and for all your English Premier League betting requirements, we are happy to recommend Sports Interaction. This site boasts a host of competitive and comprehensive markets, from winner outrights to relegation, to top goalscorer and more.
